I guess I'm slightly biased in my evaluation of this eatery. But really, if you're a tourist paying homage to the long running TV show, then a beer at Cheers is a required stop in your sightseeing. In all honesty, you'll be a little disappointed that the layout of the bar doesn't match the television show. But the decor - the walls, lights, accessories - are the real deal. The servers and waitstaff are selected from hundreds of college kids in Boston, so you're getting enthusiastic, bright and friendly people to wait on you. The food is typical pub fare, and decent quality. There's a bit of an upcharge because it's an attraction, but that's just something you'll have to deal with. Locals should stay out over the summer, but winters are a little less touristy.
