This night definitely didn't go the way I had originally planned. I was walking down 5th st early on a Saturday night looking for someplace to get a quiet dinner. I had seen The Red Circle before and was intrigued by the interior decor. Bear in mind...this place is a night club that serves food--not a traditional restaurant. The bartender was super friendly, taking the time to take me through the menu and recommend several dishes. I got a three course meal that came with an appetizer, several skewers of my choice (I want to say six, but I can't quite recall) and a dessert. Not more than 10 minutes after my order was placed, the "wig bar crawl" party arrived. 200 or so patrons donned in wigs and looking to test their collective alcohol tolerance. I won't go into the sordid details of the night with my new wig friend Monica. I'll just say, the food was really tasty (although since the bar got slammed, I never got my dessert) and the night was fun. Just to give you an idea, before I had left for the night a bikini runway show was well underway. I'll let you decide if The Red Circle is for you.
