I was a bit nervous about this place after seeing some random reviews on other sites, I'm really glad we gave it a shot though. We got there a bit before 5:30, a necessity in order to get a sitter. At that time, it was mostly the elder early bird crowd. The dining room was dimly lit, with dark woods and a fireplace and candles, not usually our cup of team but nice for a Valentine's dinner. We skipped an appetizer to save room for dessert. I got the New York strip special, it was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly, and topped with bleu cheese and a red wine reduction sauce that had a subtle sweetness to it. I knew I chose well when the waiter said that was going to be his dinner. I asked for a recommendation for dessert and was pointed to the flourless chocolate tart, with a scoop of ice cream on the side. This was amazing, I'm not sure if I've had a flourless cake before, but I definitely will again. It was pure decadence, but really needed the ice cream to balance it. Overall this was a wonderful experience. It's a bit pricey, but well worth it.
