I always enjoy pho and this is a pretty good place. I have had some better bowls up by Convoy or in the College area, but I dont want to drive that far just for some soup. This is the best place for pho with in 10 miles of my home so I go there. It is delicious and the people who work there are really nice.

Ca Dao Pa dow! There's always a lineup for lunch, and it's well deserved. Another high school cafeteria-style pho place, which if fairly typical for those kinds of establishments... whatever, I'm more into good food for a good price than what kind of paintings are on the wall and what shade of chartreuse my tablecloth is. I actually have had better pho from some other restaurants, but ca dao offers a solid pho experience and has a lot of specialty dishes that are worth a shot, all of which are done well. My only real complaint is that with such a high turnover rate and the sheer volume of people that are served at any given lunch/dinner time, you feel like you are on an assembly line. Best bet is to go a little early or late if you can and get some good solid food.

This place is a food service factory--a well oiled front-of-house machine that cycles through lunch guests like I've never seen.

We come here quite a bit for lunch. The pho is quite good (although admittedly, I'm no expert). I get the same thing every time I go...egg rolls and the number 18 (rare steak). The food always comes out hot and fresh and the flavor is quite good. I may like to see a bit more steak, but at $5 for a medium bowl...it's tough to complain. Check it out if you're in Mira Mesa--you'll be done before you know it.
