COMMENT CARDS
We sat down with a bottle of wine that we brought in and ordered up a round of Tsingtaos to get us started. Our waitress was pleasant, prompt, and a really good sport. She recommended the Cumin Lamb which we ordered (along with just about everything else on the menu). I won't be able to touch on every dish individually, but almost everything was stellar. Definitely a step above most of the Asisn fare that I've tried. The standouts were the cumin lamb, rice cake with pork and cabbage, orange peel chicken, pork meatball, and pot stickers. I can vouch for the food's authenticity, but I know when is dish is well-done, and these were great.
Shanghai City is certainly worth your time. I'll be back; I can't wait to get another serving of that lamb.
