To start, we split a box of their garlic cheese bread. It's basically pizza with no sauce, cut, and smeared with a roasted garlic paste (I could be wrong on the actual preparation, but that's my best guess). As garlic bread goes, this is about as good as it gets. Highly recommended.
Next up, their New York Pizza (a meal of garlic bread and pizza...screw you Dr. Atkins). To be honest, I wasn't that impressed. The toppings were sausage, pepperoni, salami, and mushrooms with a red sauce. The flavors were OK, but didn't really come together the way I was hoping, and for some reason, the crust was better on the garlic bread.
Service was decent and it's in a cool little spot (as high end strip malls go). I still find it ironic that the one dish at Sammy's Woodfired PIZZA that I haven't cared for is the pizza. Oh well, there's still a lot of good food to be eaten there.
