COMMENT CARDS
They've got a lot of things on the menu that look really good. I almost had to call an audible, but I stayed true to the mission and got the CCPs (with a little bit of corned beef hash on the side for a little variety). Both were quite good, and the portions are large (as is the price). The pancakes were really chocolaty and choc-full of chips on both the inside and out.
A couple of negatives. First, the place was a bit dirty. Both my coffee cup and water glass weren't exactly clean. Now I've worked in the restaurant business for quite some time, and am very forgiving, but I think watching Hell's Kitchen has made me a bit more sensitive to dirty places. Our table was perched directly at the door to the kitchen as well, counting for a lot of activity.
Service was OK, but seemed a bit chaotic. All in all, the food was a hit but experience-wise, for the money, there are better pancake options available.
