There is an ambiance to the MiraMar Cafe's dining room that speaks directly to my "Golly. Gosh. Linen tablecloths!" Wyoming mentality. The atmosphere is bright, understated, close without being claustrophobic and inviting. Serving breakfast all day also accommodates that "Sitchur' self down ritechere, pardner an put on ur feedbag" diner in me who is always looking for maple syrup and a cup of joe to remind me I'm going out to eat. It's a great place to meet with friends or take work associates for conversation while dining. I had their huevos rancheros and didn't leave a bite on the plate. That says something, right? Always one of my favorite little spots, nestled between McDonalds and Carl's Jr. See? You could do a whole lot worse than the MiraMar Cafe.

Miramar Cafe represents a strange olio of concepts, being 1/3 Greek, 1/3 Mexican, and 1/3 a breakfast diner. A little something for everybody...sure, but odd nonetheless. The decor and atmosphere reflect this as well; the dining room is strewn with old Greek art, yet the waitresses are constantly trolling the dining room freshing up coffee and carrying 5 plates at at time.

We went in for lunch and ended up having breakfast. The I got the eggs with biscuits and gravy with a side of blueberry pancakes. The eggs were good and the biscuits were moist. The gravy could have stood a bit more seasoning, but I guess that's what condiments are for.

The blueberry pancakes were OK, but nothing special. It took us a while to figure out where they actually baked the fruit into the pancake, or just pile them on top (we did find a few baked in, but they were rare).

As usual, the service was fast and friendly...as one would expect in any good Greek/Mexican/diner hybrid.
