COMMENT CARDS
This particular location is the "original"; where it all started. So it isn't the most current or typical layout for the Rubio's chain. There is very limited seating, and the area that you place your order is congested and claustrophobic if there's even one or two other people waiting for takeout.
The food is always middle of the road. So that's kind of nice - you know what you're going to get. But it's also got the downside that... you know what you're going to get.
So for convenience sake, if you want a pretty standard sample of Baha California cuisine, then give it a shot. If you're a tourist in the area, there are more hidden gems in terms of fish tacos and the like. You probably want to go a little out of your way for some better flavor. See some of my other comment cards for info on South Beach Bar and Grill for example, or Cass Street B&G.
