I was lucky to make it in for happy hour, so that influenced my food selection a bit (dishes with stars in the name are half off). I ended up getting a grilled cheese sampler and their caprese salad. I'd never seen a caprese served in this style. There was a bowl of cherry tomatoes and a cheese (not fresh mozzarella...a hard cheese) tossed in a basil dressing. Pretty tasty.
The grilled cheese sampler was great. It's served with a side of tomato basil bisque and a blue cheese sauce for dipping. You could definitely taste the quality of the cheese, and the sandwiches were perfectly grilled. The portion sizes were appropriate so both dishes together made a great meal.
Service was great...and so was the beer selection. I actually got to try a Lost Abbey Angel's Share (at a mere $42 per bottle). Great stuff! Not quite worth the price, but the drink was good.
They also have a stock market gimmick for their drink prices. They change every few minutes depending on what is sold. Kinda neat.
This is a good place. I expect to drink there frequently.
