Now that I'm trying to lose weight...I've been eating quite a bit more sushi. Here are my findings for the best San Diego sushi. It's a short list for now, but as I find more great sushi places, I'll add them to the list

We went in for lunch and were promptly sat. The restaurant wasn't too busy and things moved rather quickly. I went with 2 pieces of tuna (Nigiri) and a pork-katsu bento box. The tuna was decent, but not spectacular...about what you'd expect at your run-of-the-mill sushi place (although the rice was exceptionally well prepared). The bento box was quite a site. The plate/box itself was a work of art, offering spacious separation and even individual portions of sauce for each compartment. The contents of the box were good as well, and contained tons of food.
All in all, a good sushi option. One thing that stood out that I'm not sure I like is the stainless steel chop sticks. While definitely more swanky than normal wood sticks, you kind of got that metallic taste and teeth feel. Oh well, at least no tongue splinters.
