Chipotle

Anybody has gone to a Chipotle location more than once pretty much knows what's in store. The experience is remarkably consistent between locations, which is a tribute to the chain.

What to expect is an extremely limited selection of high quality (or let's say high value for the money) Mexican food. You can get either a burrito, tacos, or a bowl with your choice of meat...then continue down the assembly line style ordering workflow to select the fixins of your choosing. In this case, I went with the barbacoa burrito, with whatever fillings jumped out at me (I can't quite remember). As usual, the food was great and the service was super fast and as friendly as one can expect.

What was interesting was that this place was obviously the Murrieta high school hangout of choice. Mingling and dining with this clientele brought me back to my alma mata. But which were the cool tables? Was somebody going to asked to the prom? Is everybody ready for the killer algebra test tomorrow?

Anyway...go for the burritos - stay for the nostalgia.
