Alright, I love this restaurant. Is it the free corkage or half price bottle nights? Is it the quaint and friendly atmosphere? How about the fresh and varied selection of tasty food? Sounds wonderful, doesn't it? That's why it's one of my top picks for restaurants in San Diego.

Last night was my second time at Sbicca, and for the second time, the food just failed to impress. I had the halibut, but the fish was dry and flavors just didn't come together. For appetizers, we had the chicken and goat cheese spring rolls, and the roasted artichokes. Not bad, but nothing spectacular. The wine list is pretty good and had a few nice red selections (the artessa cab and hahn meritage are both very good). Don't get me wrong, Sbicca isn't bad...I'm just still waiting for that great experience.
